Financial gifts help offset the cost of performing 13 infectious disease tests on all blood donations.
Mobile Blood Drive Vehicle Support
Monetary contributions support the purchase of new bloodmobiles, shuttles and vans that are required to conduct the 3,500 blood drives held each year to keep blood donation convenient for donors.
Community and Donor Outreach
Bonfils continually conducts community outreach and donor recruitment activities like seasonal marketing campaigns and Drive for Life to ensure an adequate blood supply year round.
Colorado Marrow Donor Program
Financial support allows Bonfils to offer free or discounted typing for potential marrow/stem cell donors who sign-up for the Nation Marrow Registry through Bonfils' Colorado Marrow Donor Program.
Research
Philanthropy designated for this initiative helps Bonfils' Research department advance the field of transfusion medicine.
Equipment, Technology and Facility Advancements
Funds assist with upgrading Bonfils' laboratories and purchasing state of the art equipment required to ensure a safe and efficiently produced blood supply.
Lowry Facilities Improvements*
Money raised helps support facilities improvements at Bonfils' Lowry headquarters.
Employee Skills Training*
Financial gifts support employee training and organizational development initiatives to ensure that Bonfils maintains its premier workforce.
Gifts also may be designated as unrestricted and will be allocated to the greatest area of need.
*Gifts to these funds may be eligible for a Colorado Enterprise Zone income tax credit.
