Inaugural Give LIVE Benefit Concert a Success
Kicking off our 70th anniversary celebration, Bonfils Blood Center held our first-ever benefit concert – Give LIVE – on Valentine’s Day. Presented by FirstBank and featuring the Denver-based band DeVotchKa, Give LIVE raised nearly $130,000 through sponsorship, ticket sales and general gifts to help Bonfils Blood Center save and enhance lives throughout our community and beyond. More than 1,500 Coloradans shared the love with Bonfils taking part in the evening which included a pre-concert VIP party for sponsors and VIP ticket holders as well as an exclusive meet and greet with the band.
Proceeds from Give LIVE will help Bonfils fund projects and initiatives like blood donor and patient safety, community and donor outreach, mobile blood drive support and much more throughout 2013.
