Community Partners Appreciation Event
In 2014 Bonfils hosted its11th annual appreciation reception honoring nearly 700 blood donors who reached 10 gallon or more donation milestones in 2013, as well as financial contributors, community and healthcare partners, marrow/stem cell donors, Bonfils ambassadors, gold level blood drive host organizations and volunteers. Five awards were given at the reception to members of the Bonfils community who went above and beyond to supporting our mission in 2013.
Bonfils Blood Center is proud to announce our 2nd annual Give LIVE benefit concert featuring
Gavin DeGraw raised nearly $151,000 to support the everyday lifesaving operations of the blood center.
Celebrating our Southern Colorado Supporters
Every June, Bonfils honors our southern Colorado partners and community members that contribute to our success. Nearly 300 of Bonfils' five-gallon and above blood donors and supporters were honored for their lifesaving work.
Chip in for Life
Nearly 100 golfers representing 33 partner organizations teed off on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at Glenmoor Country Club for Bonfils Blood Center’s 10th annual Chip in for Life golf benefit raising more than $100,000 to further our lifesaving mission.
Drive for Life
October 22, 2013 marked the 16th year of Drive for Life, which is presented annually by Bonfils Blood Center and the Denver Broncos and is generously sponsored by 9News, Sportsradio 104.3 The FAN and The Denver Post. More than 2,100 fans saved lives at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
High Gallon Donor Celebrations
In 2013 Bonfils celebrated three high gallon donors. Bill Burnham and Richard Loya became our second and third donors in our 70-year history to reach the prestigious 70-gallon lifetime donation milestone. Stanley Large entered the 50-gallon donation club.
Blood recipient Dan Richmond got the chance to meet and personally thank 15 of his 81 blood donors at a special event on Feb. 13, 2014. The event featured remarks from Bonfils President and CEO Bryan Krueger as well Pamela Bourg, director of the trauma program at St. Anthony Central Hopsital.
