Bonfils Blood Center Proudly Partners with Colorado Springs Fire Department
Offering Coloradans more opportunity for blood donation
Colorado Springs, Colo (Feb. 15, 2013) – Bonfils Blood Center is proud to partner with the Colorado Springs Fire Department to host monthly blood drives at Fire Station 18. The fire house is located at 6830 Hadler View, Colorado Springs, 80919 and the blood drives will be held in the Community Room on the main floor.
Beginning next Sunday, Feb. 17 and running through the end of 2013, blood drives will be held each month from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will be open to the public. The next blood drives will take place Mar.17, April 14, May 19, June 16, July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 8, Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 22.
“Bonfils is honored to be partnering with the Colorado Springs Fire Department to host blood drives and offer the Colorado Springs community more opportunities to donate in 2013,” says Bonfils Blood Center’s Vice President of Marketing and Community Development, Jessica Maitland. “The fire department is synonymous with saving lives and that is what donors who visit these blood drives will be doing, saving lives with their blood donation.”
