Events and Promotions

Bonfils Blood Center champions events and promotions throughout the year to increase awareness about the need for blood donation in our community.  While the need for blood is constant, these programs offer Bonfils the opportunity to recognize our blood donors and reach out to new people, encouraging them to make their first life-saving blood donation.

Decision 2008
Blood donations decline up to 20 percent in June, July and August so cast your vote with Bonfils this summer and choose to save a life by giving blood. Donate just twice this summer to Bonfils and you could win a trip to Mexico.

Chip in for Life
Mark your calendars. Bonfils Blood Center’s fifth annual Chip in for Life golf benefit, presented by KeyBank is Monday, August 18 at Glenmoor Country Club. Link up your passion for golf and your support for patients by getting involved in Bonfils' 2008 Chip in for Life tournament.

Drive for Life
Drive for Life, presented by Bonfils Blood Center and the Denver Broncos, is Colorado's largest single-day blood drive. 2007 marked the 10th year of the event, which hosted nearly 2,700 blood donors at INVESCO Field at Mile High. Drive for Life is held annually in October and is generously sponsored by CBS4, The Denver Post and Sportsradio 104.3 The FAN.

High School Challenge
Participating in Bonfils Blood Center's High School Student Body Challenge not only shows school pride, but also shows how much high school students care about the community. There are great rewards for participating schools, including a chance to win a trip to the MTV studios in New York, sponsored by Comcast.
