Bonfils Blood Center’s Mile High Milestone
19,795 Donors...58,485 Lives Saved.

Denver Broncos fans rolled up their sleeves to create a mile high milestone at the tenth annual Drive for Life community blood drive. Nearly 2,700 donors, including 471 first-time donors, attended the state's largest single-day blood drive and donated 1,628 units of blood to support patients in need.
Bonfils' Colorado Marrow Donor Program was also successful in registering 140 potential marrow donors to the National Marrow Donor Registry.
"Today's participation from blood donors, Denver Broncos players, alumni and cheerleaders truly made Drive for Life X a mile high milestone,” said Jessica Maitland, vice president of marketing and community operations for Bonfils Blood Center. “After 10 years, this event has hosted nearly 19,800 blood donors and saved and enhanced the lives of more than 59,000 patients. We salute our community for making Drive for Life X a success.”
