Bonfils Blood Center Community Blood Drives Cancelled Today

DENVER (April 11, 2005) - The following community blood drives have been cancelled today due to poor weather conditions and unsafe roads:

Chatfield High School Blood Drive, Littleton, CO - 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Ford Motor Company, Englewood, CO - 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Golden Library Blood Drive, Golden, CO - 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Park Hill Children's Center Blood Drive, Denver, CO - 3 to 6:30 p.m.
CSU Greek Week Blood Drive, Ft. Collins, CO -- 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Bonfils Blood Center's Denver West, Highlands Ranch, Lowry, Sterling and Westminster community donor centers will open for blood donors beginning at 10 a.m. Please visit the Donate page of www.bonfils.org for address information and directions.

Bonfils Blood Center supplies blood to more than 115 healthcare facilities and needs to collect 4,350 blood donations weekly to meet the needs of the community and to be prepared for any unexpected events.
