Bonfils responds to officer-involved shooting

Our hearts go out to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Castle Rock Police and the families of those affected in the officer-involved shooting Sunday morning. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is updating the situation via Twitter.

Bonfils sent blood products to local hospitals Sunday morning. At this time, needs have been met and Bonfils is not being asked to supply any additional blood products. Should this change, we stand ready to support as needed. 

It is the blood already on the shelf that helps in emergencies. Thank you to all the blood donors who help ensure patient needs can be met every day of the year.

Those who wish to show their support may give blood at any Bonfils commumity donor center. Hours are as follows through the New Year's holiday:
